JANICE EVANS

Janice Evans is an original partner of Creative Atlantic Communications Ltd. Her responsibilities include overseeing the company’s operations as well as the development and production of all of Creative Atlantic’s programs. Janice is adept at discovering and nurturing emerging creative talent and prides herself on producing meaningful projects for the marketplace. By combining her industry knowledge with financial acumen, she successfully devises innovative financing models for the company’s projects.

Janice co-produced the first two seasons of the critically acclaimed CTV series Robson Arms with Omni Films as well as developed and co-produced The Mighty Jungle for CBC Children’s. She recently produced a PBS special on Natalie MacMaster and acted as Executive Producer on the documentary: Ted Nolan: Behind The Bench for APTN and CBC’s The Lens. Janice directed and produced Celtic Soul: The Life and Music of John Allan Cameron for Bravo! and CBC. She was Executive Producer of a one-hour performance special featuring the comedic genius of Andy Jones, in addition to The Singular Series and Liocracy, a comedy series starring Leslie Nielsen.
